What it captures

The whole community,
not just the videos.

Skool Downloader walks an entire classroom and grabs everything you have access to — then files it away so it still makes sense a year from now.

Full courses

Every module and lesson — articles, descriptions and the raw lesson data — in the same order as Skool shows them.

Three clicks, done

No code. No setup.

If you can install an extension, you can archive a whole community.

1

Add the extension

Install from your browser's store. It lives quietly in your toolbar until you need it.

2

Open a classroom

Log in to Skool and open any course at skool.com/<group>/classroom. The extension reads the page you're already viewing.

3

Click download

Hit Download and watch the folder tree fill in under Downloads/skool. Walk away — it handles the rest.

The companion viewer

Read it back like you never left Skool.

Your download isn't a pile of files — it's a browsable library. A free, open-source companion viewer turns the folder into a clean, searchable interface: courses, lessons, posts, members and more, all offline.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Is this allowed?+
Skool Downloader only ever touches content your own logged-in account can already open. It uses your existing session in your own browser — it doesn't unlock paywalls, share logins, or bypass anything. Think of it as a "save for offline" button for communities you're already a member of. Always respect each community's terms and the creator's wishes.
Is it really free? What's the catch?+
No catch — Skool Downloader is free and open source. There's no price, no trial timer, no subscription, and no locked "pro" tier. The complete source code is public on GitHub, so anyone can read exactly what it does, audit it line by line before trusting it with their account, and fork it to build their own. It runs entirely in your browser, collects no analytics, and talks to no servers of ours. If it saves you time, you can chip in a donation — but you never have to.
Where do my files go?+
Straight to your computer, under Downloads/skool, organized by community → course → module → lesson. Nothing is uploaded anywhere and there are no servers in the middle — it all happens locally in your browser.
Which browsers does it work on?+
Chrome (and Chromium browsers like Edge, Brave and Arc), Firefox, and Safari. Pick your browser at the top of the page and add it from the official store.
Do I need an account or a subscription?+
No. There's no Skool Downloader account to create and nothing to log into — you just stay signed in to Skool like normal. The extension reads the pages you're already allowed to see.
What about the videos — will they actually play?+
Yes. Lesson videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Wistia and Skool's own player are saved as standard video files, with transcripts when the provider exposes captions. Open them in any media player, or browse them in the companion viewer.
